An Invitation For Deepening...

Once you complete your session, you might desire to drop in with the Audio Visualizers as you journal and integrate your session. You might desire to copy/paste any Eros & Excavation Writing Prompts {into ie: Notion} or handwrite them out in your journal.

Wild One,

Context is everything.

The way we not only look AT something but the way we look THROUGH it {meaning the way we see the world and ourselves in the world} are both determined by the CONTEXT in which we are looking at that specific something.

Let me give you an example.

Imagine you’re about to get on stage, the biggest stage of your “career”.

But you’re sweating balls and you’ve only got 5 minutes to

Now, in Scenario #1, you’re sweating said balls and you’re feeling nervous AF and, unfortunately, your experience with being nervous before you speak on stage is that you screw things up to high heaven and then feel like shit afterwards.

So here, the CONTEXT is that sweating equals nervousness which equals a major fail on stage… which means, at least in the mind of a Creative, that we have failed in our mission and soul’s path on this planet.

Now, shake that off.

Here’s Scenario #2.

You’re hiking your favorite mountain and you just hit the peak {10,000 feet thank you very much}.

You’re sweating balls and LAUGHING {even as you’re gasping for air} because you’re having so much fun and pushing yourself to the max.

You’re also feeling accomplished because your experience with pushing past self-imposed limits in your fitness/conditioning is that you always have massive breakthroughs in the rest of your life, intimacy, pleasure, and creativity afterwards.

And so here, the CONTEXT is that sweating said balls equals accomplishment... which equals a major win in every area of your life… which means, in the mind of a Creative, that we can push past the Resistance and doubt around our art and mission and love that much easier.

So, can you see here that sweating balls {or whatever the situation might be} is 100% context-dependant?

Imagine what would happen if you were able to bring the experience and CONTEXT of Scenario #2 into Scenario #1?

How do you think your experience on stage {or writing your book, leading a retreat, landing global media, etc} would shift for you?

Hit reply and let me know.

I won’t be able to respond to every email {I will get to some though!}, but I’ll dive into the answer in the next email.
